Easy Peasy Nappies.
These shaped nappies are made of cotton terry with a fleece lining. There
is a pocket between the fleece lining and the terry nappy with a flap-out
booster for easy drying. This allows you to add absorbency by putting
in additional boosters if required.
The Bimble comes in 3 sizes starting with 5lbs.
The Bumble is a Birth to Potty nappy which poppers in on itself and will
fit from birth up to 35lbs.
Prices start at £5.95 for the Bimble and £6.95 for the Bumble.
These are very versatile nappies at a mid-range price.
Ella’s House. These shaped nappies
are made from hemp. Hemp is surprisingly soft and very absorbent, meaning
that you can have a slimmer fitting nappy for the same absorbency when
compared with cotton. The standard hemp nappy is a great slimline nappy
for daytime, whereas the Bumhugger with its colourful fleece lining is
ideal for night-time use or long car journeys.
Priced at £7.75 for the hemp and £8.95 for the Bumhugger, puts them towards
the top of the price-range for shaped nappies, but well worth the extra
for the great absorbency and fun colours!
Junior Joy. The prefolds and liners
represent great value for money – prices start at £8.75 for 6. So if you
don’t mind minimal folding you can use these cloth nappies at a fraction
of the price of shaped nappies. The prefolds are sewn in three sections.
The middle section contains 8 layers of cotton and the outer sections
contain 4 layers. Depending on how you choose to fold – there are different
variations for boys and girls, you can get up to 32 layers giving very
good absorbency. It is essential that you use a well fitting wrap with
the prefolds.
The muslins are a similar size to those available on the high street and
can be pad folded for an early days nappy or used as a general mop-up
cloth. A pack of 12 will cost only £9.00
The Junior Joy Flushable Enviroliners are very long so can be cut in half
to give doubly good value! A roll of 100 is just £2.00
