About us

I am Louise, mum to Rebecca and Isobel, both of whom wore cloth nappies from birth. I returned to work part-time when Rebecca was 6 months old and she went to nursery 3 days a week.

We continued to use cloth nappies and the nursery was very supportive. I took a bag of clean nappies in the morning, took home a bag of wet nappies in the evening which I washed and dried ready for the next day. If using cloth nappies had been difficult, I wouldn't have continued doing so!

I have set up Nappy Adventures to raise awareness of cloth nappies, to demonstrate how easy modern cloth nappies are to use, and to help parents make an informed choice before buying a nappy system. Now with our newest addition we are able to test even more brands of nappy so you can be sure of an honest, informed opinion.

When I first looked into using real nappies I found a number of websites containing an overwhelming amount of information - great but also hard work to trawl through!

Now four years later there are even more products and varieties available. I want to help more parents get started using cloth nappies by allowing them to try out different options before they buy, and to see that cloth nappies are as easy to use as disposables.
